Project plants urban forest by trail through Sarnia college campus

An urban forest is taking root near a section of the Midtown Trail passing through Lambton College’s Sarnia campus. A crew from the Reforest Woolwich charity and Climate Action Sarnia-Lambton volunteers planted 1,000 native trees Thursday morning as part of a project co-ordinated by the nuSarnia Foundation. The foundation connected with Reforest Woolwich’s Mark Schwartz and worked with the charity previously to plant 200 trees on another project along the multi-use trail, said nuSar
