Petrolia Discovery hosting Military History in Action Oct. 4

Military history will come to life this fall at a new event on the Petrolia Discovery oil heritage site. Military History in Action, Oct. 4 at the Discovery site in Petrolia, is expected to include First World War demonstrations, including cavalry, as well as displays by local heritage groups and activities for local cadets. The Chatham-Kent based Great Canadian War Society approached the Discovery about hosting the event as fundraiser for the site, said Liz Welsh, chairperson of the foundation
