Musicians joining forces to support Forest food bank

Local musicIans are coming together to raise money for Forest’s Contact House, a food bank with a four-decade-long history in the Lambton Shores community. The Dec. 11 fundraiser at Forest’s Royal Canadian Legion hall is being organized by singer-guitarist Rick Powell, who recently moved to  the Lambton Shores community to be nearer family after 35 years in Grand Bend. “If this goes over well, as anticipated, we’ll stock the shelves for quite a while,” he said.
