LCCVI student receives $5K post-secondary bursary

The Sarnia Community Foundation (SCF) is congratulating LCCVI student Gauri Patel on receiving the 2026 All-Round Student Bursary.She's getting $5,000 towards tuition, books, and residence fees.Patel heading to the University of Guelph in September to study molecular biology and genetics and plans to become a doctor.Patel was a peer tutor in the welding club at the Petrolia high school and competed in the Skills Canada Welding competition.In a news release, the SCF said it wanted the recipi
