Two local heroes saluted for their advocacy and fundraising efforts

Helping family and friends battle Cystic Fibrosis and constantly fundraising for the cause was reward enough for Macrina Perron and Paige Trudeau-Shemilt.  However, in the eyes of Cystic Fibrosis Canada, those efforts deserved national recognition.  That recognition was bestowed on this dynamic duo on Friday morning at a ceremony at Nipissing University.  Perron and Trudeau-Shemilt formally received their King Charles III Coronation Medals from the President and CEO of Cystic Fib
