Small fire in unopened business on Algonquin Avenue on Thursday night

North Bay Fire and Emergency Services responded to a small fire located inside of a unopened store on the 300 block of Algonquin Avenue.It was reported to have started in a plant shop at 356 Algonquin, a shop that was going to open for business in early July.Platoon Chief David McDonald says the cause of the fire is undetermined and there is no damage estimate available.“Fire Prevention is going to come in and take a look at it.
