"Serious" collision between vehicle and dump truck on Highway 17

Emergency crews are on scene of a serious collision on Highway 17 between Hwy. 94 in East Ferris and Hwy. 11 in North Bay.The collision involves a passenger vehicle and dump truck. Injuries are being assessed.North Bay Ontario Provincial Police are asking the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes.“Expect a prolonged closure during the investigation and clean-up efforts.”
