Northeast OPP issue a trailer safety reminder

On the night of July 14, the North Bay OPP responded to a report of a wheel-off incident on the Highway 11/17 Bypass. Investigation determined that a pickup truck towing a recreational watercraft trailer experienced a complete wheel failure. The trailer’s wheel, hub assembly, and fender detached while travelling on the highway, with the wheel crossing the highway coming to rest in the ditch.
