Keeping the drive alive to save the Trout Creek Community Centre

Plans continue to be put forth to repair the Trout Creek Community Centre. During their May 6 council meeting, Powassan councillors agreed to authorize staff to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for the design and costing of the Community Centre’s remediation work. Council also approved the creation of a fundraising committee. Mayor Peter McIsaac says, “If there’s a feasible way for us to rehabilitate that community centre, that’s my preferred approach.” He emphas
