A driver is facing an impaired driving charge after entering a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) spot check in Papineau-Cameron Township.Members of the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a RIDE program on Chant Plein Lake Road Aug. 2.Around 8 a.m., a pickup truck entered the spot check, and officers observed signs consistent with alcohol impairment.
