Crews battling forest fire west of North Bay off of Highway 17

Ontario Forest Fires site posted that they are responding to North Bay 2, west of Little Lakes Road and north of Hwy 17. One Fire Ranger crew is working alongside local firefighters on this 0.1 hectare fire.  Aerial fire suppression is underway, two Twin Otters and a lead birddog aircraft are working north of the Hwy. The report was initially sent out by the Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Servicesof the Ministry of Natural Resources.
