Canadore College seeks land purchase for future expansion

Canadore College is looking to expand its operations at 1351 Chapais Street.The college is asking the city to allow it to purchase unopened municipal road allowances and unopened municipal laneways located just west of Chapais Street and north of Dane Avenue, where E.T . Carmichael once stood.The elementary school has been renovated into a daycare facility.It isn’t known yet what Canadore planning to do with the property it is looking to acquire.“At this time, Canadore College is no
