Attacking dog shot by North Bay Police Service on Saturday

An aggressive dog that the North Bay Police service say was attacking people was euthanized by a local vet, after being shot by police on Saturday afternoon. North Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 200 block of Main Street East, on April 19th around 12:30 pm. When officers arrived, a large aggressive dog was attacking people within an apartment. One of the residents was able to get control of the dog, and brought it outside the apartment.
