Another soggy but successful Powassan Maple Syrup Festival

It was good times and bad weather on Saturday in Powassan. It’s an end of April tradition that despite the bad weather, apparently that is also a tradition according to many vendors and attendees the Nugget spoke to on Saturday, still brings thousands from across the region to Powassan for the annual Maple Syrup Festival. Dozens of vendors, some from as far off as Bracebridge, filled Main Street all day Saturday and despite the wet weather they claimed to be quite busy.  Sh
