Wildfire-related evacuation alert cancelled for areas including Boston Bar

An evacuation alert has been cancelled by the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) for North Bend, Fishblue Lake, Canyon Alpine, Nahatlatch, Boston Bar, Scuzzy Creek FSR, and south of Boston Bar.
According to a news release from the FVRD, the cancellation comes at the recommendation of BC Wildfire Service (BCWS). The evacuation alerts were originally issued on Aug. 5, when they were downgraded from evacuation orders.
