Vancouver Island SPCA centre urgently needs foster volunteers

The BC SPCA Parksville-Qualicum Beach Community Animal Centre is looking for more foster volunteers as it faces a shortage of temporary homes for animals awaiting adoption.
Centre manager Janelle Hill said foster families play a vital role in helping the shelter care for more animals.
“Shelters have limited capacity,” Hill said. “We rely on fosters to help us care for more animals in our community, which creates space in the centre for the most vulnerable animals.”
