Suspect located after unsuccessful manhunt on Mount Tzouhalem

The woman at the centre of a Sept. 9 manhunt on Mount Tzouhalem and in the Maple Bay area has been located by police.
The 36-year-old was found on Sept. 15 and was arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation, confirmed North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP spokesperson Const. Tessa McDonald.
After her arrest, the woman was held in custody and appeared in court. She was subsequently released on court-imposed conditions and is scheduled to return to court at a future date.
