Presentation to take people on a trip down VIU’s memory lane

The evolution of Malaspina College to Vancouver Island University will be explored during a presentation at Bowen Park in Nanaimo.
In a press release, Nanaimo Historical Society said Steve Wood, a VIU student completing a bachelor of arts honours degree in history, will give the Vancouver Island University: Stories of the Early Days presentation at Bowen Park complex on Thursday, Sept. 10 beginning at 7 p.m.
Wood interviewed staff and faculty from the early days of the post-secondary institution
