Mid-Island garbage cleanup includes site of 2020 triple homicide
Several areas in Whiskey Creek plagued by illegal dumping have been cleaned up, thanks to the time and efforts of the Four Wheel Drive Association of BC.
Volunteers found shingles, four abandoned vehicles, two fifth-wheel trailers, appliances, a variety of household trash and plenty of needles, according to Colin Stuart, who recently became a representative for the association’s Vancouver Island chapter.
