Lorraine Venuti

Venuti – Lorraine age 94 of Nanaimo passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025 at Nanaimo Regional Hospital. Born in Cumberland in 1930 where her father worked as a coal miner, the third child of Italian immigrants Rosa and Albert Sedola. The family moved back to Italy when the children were young and due to World War II, they were unable to return to Canada until 1947 when they made Nanaimo their home.
Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Venuti and by her sisters Jean Cagna and Norma Lem
