Long-term care home in Lantzville now planned to be six storeys

Island Health’s planned long-term care home is has made it through another stage of the approval process, with allowances for changes to the design of what will be a six-storey facility with 306 beds.
An Island Health project team presented to District of Lantzville council at a meeting Nov. 12, and the zoning and official community plan amendment passed second reading after a previous second reading was rescinded.
