Great Nanaimo Toy Drive hoping for community’s help with gift-giving

The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive has set out to make the holiday season merry and is accepting gifts for families in need.
Registration is open for families in the Nanaimo region, with children from newborns up to the age of 17, who are not registered with other holiday support agencies.
Janet Mirau, Great Nanaimo Toy Drive chairperson, said in a press release that “every toy, every dollar, and every hour volunteered has a direct impact on a local family’s holiday experience.”
