Emergency operation centre activated after landslide near Sayward

In response to a landslide at Newcastle Creek in late October, the Village of Sayward has activated a Level 1 Emergency Operation Centre to assess the impact of the landslide on the creek’s watershed and potential effects on the village’s water treatment facility.
