Elections BC needs to hire 17K workers to run snap election

Elections BC is gearing up for a snap provincial election and needs to hire 17,000 workers to run it.
“The previous election, we had 17,000 people,” B.C. Chief Electoral Officer Shipra Verma said Wednesday. “We still need to hire the same amount of people to deliver the same level of service.”
