Comox Man given Vital Link award for saving wife’s life with CPR

A Comox man was recognized last week for heroically saving his wife’s life as she went into cardiac arrest in a 2023 incident.
On the night of December 28, 2023, Comox resident Tina Spencer had a severe allergic reaction at home and went into cardiac arrest. Her husband, Glen Minckler, acted quickly. He administered two doses of EpiPen, called 911 and began CPR until first responders and paramedics arrived. Paramedics continued CPR, and after emergency medical treatment were able to get a
