Charges of second-degree murder and indignity to human remains have been laid against Cameron Compton in the death of Sherry Shelley last year.
Members of the Nanaimo RCMP arrested Cameron Compton on Monday July 20, and he is currently in custody awaiting a court appearance on Tuesday.On the morning of Nov. 14, 2025, police received a report of a woman missing from Nanaimo.Nanaimo RCMP officers attended to multiple locations connected to her disappearance and ultimately located 65-year-old Shell
