B.C. commits nearly $20 million on projects to reduce wildfire risk

The B.C. government is making good on a multi-million dollar pledge to the Forest Enhancement Society of BC (FESBC) in a bid to increase the province’s woodlands.
On Monday,June 8, the Province announced it’s fulfilling the third year of its financial commitment to the Forest Enhancement Society, and the organization will be receiving $20 million in funding to support dozens of forest enhancement projects this year.
