Mother-son duo Lisa Perley-Dutcher and Jeremy Dutcher on revitalizing their language

Lisa Perley-Dutcher opened the only immersion school that teaches the Kehkimin Wolastoqey language in New Brunswick. Her son, two-time Polaris Prize winner Jeremy Dutcher, released his debut album featuring the music of the Wolastoqiyik Nation. Both of them speak with us ahead of their POP Montreal performance on Sept. 24 to talk about their approaches to revitalizing their language.
