Montreal's Festival sur le Canal cancelled this year after 17 editions showcasing local talent

The Festival sur le Canal, an annual event along the banks of the Lachine Canal, has been cancelled this year due to lack of funding. Co-founder Carl Comeau blames rising production costs and the amount of paperwork required to secure funding.
