Montreal director explores mother-daughter bonds, trauma in fictional film about Air India bombing

Eisha Marjara’s film, Calorie, is loosely based on the 1985 Air India bombing that killed all 329 people on board, many of whom were Canadians. The Quebec filmmaker lost her mother and sister in the tragedy.
