Teen arrested and charged for robbery in downtown Kingston

An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged by Kingston Police after attempting to rob a downtown business.According to police, it happened on May 30 around 5:30 p.m. The teen was seen shoplifting at a local business in the area of Princess and Barrie streets.When confronted by an employee, the individual claimed to have a weapon, made threats and then assaulted them.The Kingston Police patrol unit responded to the area where they located the individual and placed them under arrest without inc
