Local opposition to Kingston's supportive housing plans grows

KINGSTON — The city’s plan to buy and convert family homes into supportive housing for people leaving emergency shelters could run into opposition at next week’s city council meeting. Kingston is to spend up to $3.5 million to buy houses and renovate them to accommodate about seven people each. Collins Bay-Bayridge District Coun.
