Kingston-area woman recounts 'harrowing' coyote experience in local conservation area

A Kingston-area woman is sharing her story of a close encounter with a coyote in Parrott’s Bay Conservation Area this week. Cynthia Delahaye was walking her chocolate Labrador retriever, Ryder, at lunch time on Wednesday in the conservation area near Odessa when the two encountered a single coyote when it engaged with her leashed dog. Delahaye wrote in her post on social media that when her back was turned, the coyote and her dog were suddenly “brawling like a tornado on the trail.&
