Body recovered from water along Kingston shoreline
KINGSTON — OPP divers have recovered the body of a person who went missing in the waters near the Pumphouse Steam Museum. Emergency services, including Kingston Fire and Rescue and Frontenac Paramedics, were called to the pier at the foot of Lower Union Street shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday for a water rescue. The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery team was called in to take over the search and just before 10 a.m. Monday the person’s body was found.
