After hundreds protest Hamilton data centre proposal, committee denies Steelport planning application

Hamilton’s Committee of Adjustment denied an application from Slate Asset Management to split up an industrial lot. The company has said it is considering building a data centre on part of it. Hundreds of people came to Hamilton city hall on Thursday to oppose the application.
