Sudbury students heading to the Canada-Wide Science Fair

Each year, the top students in the Greater Sudbury area vie for science superiority. This year, Eden Abols, a student at Lockerby Composite Secondary School, won best-in-fair at the 2025 Sudbury Regional Science Fair, which took place on April 5. The project, Ferrum Fungi, also won a number of other awards, including first place in intermediate life sciences; the Modern Mining and Technology Sudbury Award; and the environmental award.
