David Champagne shouldn’t have been driving last summer. He shouldn’t have been driving stoned. And he shouldn’t have had illegal drugs in a bag in the vehicle. When Greater Sudbury Police officers checked a vehicle that officers stopped on Medina Lane around 7 p.m. on Aug. 10, 2024, they learned Champagne was a prohibited driver.
