Sudbury-based institute honours Peru’s ambassador to Canada

Manuel Gerardo Talavera Espinar, ambassador of Peru to Canada, has been named a distinguished fellow of the Peruvian Canadian Institute , headed by Kevin McCormick, known in Greater Sudbury for his work with Huntington University.Talavera Espinar received the honour on June 17, Peruvian Independence Day, which commemorates the 205th anniversary of Peru’s liberation from Spanish rule.The honour was presented in Ottawa and recognized Talavera Espinar for his contributions in the development
