Impaired driver slid into ditch on Highway 535 in St. Charles

For ending up in the ditch while driving drunk, a St. Charles woman has been fined $1,000 and won’t be driving for 14 months. “I’m very sorry,” a tearful Lisa Christianson told Ontario Court Justice Julie Lefebvre in Sudbury court just before being sentenced. “I know you were upset when you listened to the facts,” Lefebvre told Christianson. “I’m sure when you woke up that morning, you didn’t anticipate how that day would end.
