GOVA Transit buses to install life-saving devices on all vehicles

The City of Greater Sudbury said Tuesday it is installing automated external defibrillators – or AEDs – on all GOVA Transit buses.In doing so, the city said GOVA will become the first transit system in North America to equip its entire fleet with the lifesaving devices, intended to be used when some is suffering a cardiac emergency.“Every second matters during a cardiac arrest emergency,” Brendan Adair, the city’s director of Transit Services, said in a release. &l
