Blue-green algae detected in Espanola's Lake Apsey 

A visible bloom of blue-green algae has been observed in Lake Apsey in the Espanola area, Public Health Sudbury and Districts said Thursday. 
  The health unit said the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks tests taken on Nov. 24, from that bloom confirmed the presence of 
blue-green algae (cyanobacteria)
. The samples contained a species of cyanobacteria that can produce toxins.
