Edmonton parents looking at major increase in yellow bus fees come September

Edmonton parents are gearing up to send their kids back to school, but a steep 40 per cent in transportation fees has some parents feeling concerned. Starting in September, both Edmonton Public and Edmonton Catholic Schools will be charging parents $70 a month per student, as compared to the $50 a month they were paying last school year.
