A 51-year-old man from Monkland is facing 23 charges tied to various investigations, with the Ontario Special Investigations Unit (SIU) being called in after he was taken into custody. Police alleged the man broke into a residence and took several items on Sept. 25, then did the same at several businesses and residences on Nov. 9.
