Mayor of Village of Massena, N.Y., wants to continue positive relationship with Cornwall

Cornwall council welcomed Massena Mayor Greg Paquin to city hall on Monday night to speak about the longstanding relationship between his village and the Seaway City. Many councillors praised Paquin for the symbolic gesture of his presence and his kind words. With tumultuous Canada-U.S. relations and ongoing tariffs, Paquin wanted to share the message his community misses its Canadian neighbours. He expressed hope members of both communities could get past what is happening at the federal level
