Man from Cornwall charged with seven counts of shoplifting

A 31-year-old man from Cornwall is facing seven counts of theft under $5,000 – shoplifting. Cornwall police alleged the man went to a Ninth Street West business seven times between Aug. 5-23, each time leaving the business without making an attempt to pay for the merchandise. He was taken into custody at police headquarters on Thursday, then released to appear in Cornwall court on Oct. 30.
