Cornwall police seeking witnesses in pedestrian hit-and-run

Cornwall Police Service is asking for any witnesses to come forward after a hit-and-run collision occurred on Thursday morning. At approximately 9:25 a.m. a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Second Street West at Westmoreland Avenue. The motorist fled the scene and the woman is currently receiving treatment in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses are asked to call Const. Riley LeCompte at 613-933-5000 ext. 2712.
