Traffic lane blocked due to car fire on Coquihalla Highway

HOPE — Traffic on one section of the Coquihalla Connector from Hope to Merritt has been blocked off after a vehicle incident late Friday morning, May 9.Social media users reported a northbound vehicle fire just past the Great Bear Snow Shed at around 11:15 a.m.At 11:41 a.m., DriveBC posted that the incident has the right lane blocked.Drivers are asked to watch for crews and pass with caution.More information will be added as it becomes available.
