Man stabs police service dog during high-risk police incident in Richmond
RICHMOND — Mounties in Richmond say a man who was apprehended during a high-risk police incident stabbed a police service dog Wednesday morning.According to a statement from Richmond RCMP Corporal Melissa Lui, Richmond RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call from a man in distress Wednesday at about 2:28 a.m. The man’s address was matched to rural farmland on No. 4 Road and Westminster Highway.
