Abbotsford police investigating serious collision involving cyclist

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford Police say they dealt with more than 300 situations over the course of the weekend, including a collision that sent one person to the hospital Sunday night.
AbbyPD officers were called to South Parallel Road near Whatcom Road Sunday evening to investigate a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle. Police say the cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the hospital. Meanwhile the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the police.
