Two arrested after Wallaceburg standoff

Two men were arrested after a Monday standoff in Wallaceburg, Chatham-Kent police say. Members of Chatham-Kent police, with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police and emergency response team, executed two warrants at a Wallace Street residence, arriving on scene after 10 a.m. and remaining until approximately 4 p.m. The public was asked to avoid the area during the incident to which multiple police vehicles, including an armoured vehicle, responded.
